When to Know it's Time to Replace Your Toothbrush!
There are telltale signs it's time to replace your toothbrush. Can you recognize them?
There is a pink or black hue to the bristles. This indicates mold.
The bristles are falling out.
You were recently sick.
The toothbrush has a strange or foul smell.
Your teeth don't feel clean when you're done brushing, you feel like they're still wearing "fuzzy slippers."
You notice plaque around the gum-line.
You forgot the last time you replaced it.
When in doubt, throw it out! The American Dental Association (ADA) recommends replacing your toothbrush, or toothbrush head every 3-4 months. Not only does this keep your oral hygiene in top-notch condition, but it also helps keep you healthy.
